The Raymond J. Giacomelli Dedication stone was dedicated by the 151st Academy Class of the Contra Costa Police Academy. The memorial is fabricated of natural hand hewn dark granite, cored from a dark vein in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Raised polished plaque area provides for an outstanding and distinctive appearance; it was designed as an everlasting tribute to those who have fallen in the line of duty.
