The Abraham Lincoln Memorial was dedicated on Memorial Day 2001. An existing cement block was completely covered in veneer granite. The front face was engraved with the epitaph of President Lincoln. The top panel, approximately 3.5' x 4' x 3" thick and all polished, indicates all the alumni who died in the service of their country. This type of dedication stone made of granite, eliminating the deteriorating bronze plaque, is the best and most durable type of memorialization and dedication available.
