The Daly City War Memorial is a series of five obelisks of light gray granite. The obelisks are approximately 60" tall, 48" wide, 6" thick and made of light-gray matted with the insignia of the Armed Forces and a small epitaph that reads from left to right as a full sentence. The front horizontal plaque is three large pieces of the same matching inch and a quarter dark diamond gray granite, which is embedded directly into the base. Engraved is a city seal of Daly City along with the wording: "War Memorial Community Center. A large Community Center building in Daly City, California recently rededicated on November 11, 2007." All work, fabrication and installation, was done by V. Fontana & Co.
